Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from the Goddess & God From: God and Goddess To: Our Children of Earth Re: Idiotic Religious Rivalries Dear Children (and believe us, that's all of you), We consider ourselves pretty patient folks. For instance, look at the grand canyon. It took millions of years to get it right. And about evolution? Boy, nothing is slower than designing that whole Darwinian thing to take place, cell by cell, gene by gene. We've been patient through your fashions, civilizations, wars and schemes, and the countless ways you take Us for granted until you get yourselves into big trouble again and again. We want to let you know about some of the things that are starting to tick Us off. First of all, your religious rivalries are driving Us up a wall. Enough already!! Let's get one thing straight: These are YOUR religions, not Ours. We're the whole enchilada; We're beyond them all. Every one of your religions claims there is only one of Us (which by the way, is absolutely true. We just have many names.). But in the very next breath, each religion claims it's Our favorite one. And, each claims it's scriptures were written personally by Us, and that all the other scriptures are man-made. Oy Vey! How do we even begin to put a stop to such complicated nonsense? Okay, listen up now. We're your Father and Mother, and We don't play favorites among Our children. Also, We hate to break it to you, but we don't write. Our longhand is aweful, and we've always been more of doers anyway. So ALL of your books, including those Bibles, were written by men and women. They were inspired, remarkable people, but they also made mistakes here and there. We made sure of that so that you would never trust a written word more than your own living heart. You see, one human being to Us, even a bum on the street, is worth more than all the Holy Books in the world. That's just the kind of folks we are. Our spirit is not a historical thing. It's alive right here, right now, as fresh as your next breath. Holy books and religious rites are sacred and powerful, but not more so than the least of you. They were only meant to steer you in the right direction, not to keep you arguing with each other, and certainly not to keep you from trusting your own personal connection with Us. Which brings Us to Our next point about your nonsense. You act like we need you and your religions to "stick up" for Us or "win souls" for Our sake. Please, don't do Us any favors. We can stand quite well on Our own, thank you. We don't need you to defend Us, and We don't need constant credit. We just want you to be good to each other. Another thing, We don't get all worked up over money or politics, so stop dragging Our names into your dramas. For example, We swear to Us ***smile** *, that We never threatened Oral Roberts. We never rode in any of Rajneesh's Rolls Royce’s. We never told Pat Robertson to run for President, and We've never, EVER had a conversation with Jim Baker, Jerry Falwell, or Jimmy Swaggart!! Of course, someday, We certainly intend to...***Grin* ** The thing is, We want you to stop thinking of religion as some sort of loyalty pledge to Us. The true purpose of your religions is so that YOU can become more aware of Us, not the other way around. Believe Us, We know you already. We know what's in each of your hearts, and We love you with no strings attached. Lighten up and enjoy Us. That's what religion is best for. What you seem to forget is how mysterious We are. You look at the petty differences in your scriptures and say, "Well, if THIS is the truth, then THAT can't be." But instead of trying to figure out Our Paradoxes and Unfathomable Nature, which by the way, you NEVER will, why not open your hearts to the simple common threads in all religions. You know what We're talking about. Love and Respect everyone. Be kind, even when life is scary or confusing. Take courage and be of good cheer, for We are always with you. Learn how to be quiet, so you can hear Our still, small voice. (We don't like to shout). Leave the world a better place by living your life with dignity and gracefulness, for you are Our own children. Hold back nothing from life, for the parts of you that can die surely will, and the parts that can't, won't. So don't worry, be happy. (We stole that last line from Bobby McFerrin.) Simple stuff. Why do you keep making it so complicated? It's like you're always looking for an excuse to be upset. And We're very tired of being your main excuse. Do you think We care whether you call Us... Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah, Diana, Wakantonka, Brahma, Cerridwen, Father, Mother, God, Goddess, or even the Void of Nirvana? Do you think We care which of Our special children you feel closest to, Jesus, Mary, Buddha, Krishna, Gerald, Mohammed, or any of the others? You can call Us and Our special ones any name you choose, if only you would go about Our business of loving one another as We love you. How can you keep neglecting something so simple? We're not telling you to abandon your religions. Enjoy your religions, honor them, learn from them, just as you should enjoy, honor and learn from your parents. But do you walk around telling everyone that your parents are better than theirs? Your religion, like your parents, may always have the most special place in your hearts, We don't mind that at all. And We don't want you to combine all the Great Traditions in One Big Mess. Each religion is unique for a reason. Each has a unique style so that people can find the best path for themselves. Know that Our Special Children, the ones that your religions revolve around, all live in the same place, Our Heart, and they get along perfectly, We assure you. The clergy must stop creating a myth of sibling rivalry where there is none. Our Blessed Children of Earth, the world has grown too small for your pervasive religious bigotries and confusion. The whole planet is connected by air travel, satellite dishes, telephones, fax machines, rock concerts, diseases, and mutual needs and concerns. Get with the program!! If you really want to help, then commit yourselves to figuring out how to feed your hungry, clothe your naked, protect your abused, and shelter your poor. And just as importantly, make your own everyday life a shining example of kindness and good humor. We've given you all the resources you need, if only you abandon your fear of each other and begin living, loving and laughing together. We're not really ticked off. We just wanted to grab your attention because We hate to see you suffer. You have free will to choose your own paths, and We just want you to be happy. In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust, ~ The God & Goddess Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home An Open Letter To A Witch I do not know what tradition you follow. That does not matter. Indeed, for all I know, you may not follow any of the traditions. You may be one of those lonely ones who, for whatever reason, must worship by "feel' rather than through any formal coven training or participation. But whoever you are, and however you worship, all that matters to me is that you hold true to the Goddess and the God. My purpose in writing this letter is to enjoin your aid in destroying that which cripples our Craft. Dissension is the disease. It is not a cancer, for it can be cured; and, as with most herbal cures, the best treatment is that administered internally. Friend, help spread the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of the Craft. Do not seek to establish a scale of Wicca purism, (for no two Witches will ever agree on the relative positions on the scale of even their own tradition.) There is no one religion for all people, and THERE IS NO ONE TRADITION FOR ALL WITCHES! Let this be understood, and accepted. Choose your own path and let your neighbor choose his or hers. Remember the primary tenet: "AN YE HARM NONE, DO AS YE WILL." Yet never forget:"An ye harm none..." If your path leads to sex rites, to homosexuality, to phallic-initiation do not put it forward as "THE WICCAN WAY". It is only A Wiccan way, one of MANY. And by the same token, if a path so presented is not your way, do not decry it simply because it is not your way. Who are you to say another is wrong, so long as it harms none. Strive for honesty, friend. Do not make false Craft claims, whether of position, heredity, lineage, or whatever. If you have a quarrel with someone, seek out the one you disagree with, rather than utilize perhaps unreliable intermediaries. Do not spread unfound rumors and question those who do so. News of battle makes more exciting reading than news of peace. Why, then, provide battle news for publication when the serenity of the Craft is what we should be showing? We have come a long way, friend, in a few short years. Let us move along our chosen paths till we emerge- as we will- accepted and respected by ALL as a religion in our own right. Help us bring an end to washing our dirty linen in public. There will always be disagreements. There will always be those who cannot tolerate others, but they are in the minority and so they should remain, if you wish. But do not deny them their right to those differences. Friend, we are Children of the Universe, and Children of the Goddess and the God. Let us remember that, and live in Peace. Blessed Be, and Merry Part! Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home An Open Letter from a Witch I am a witch. I do not worship Satan; I am not interested in Satan. Satan was invented by the Christians. Satanism is a form of Christianity. I am not a Christian. I don't go to church on Sunday. Jesus is NOT my savior. He was simply a holy man who lived 2,000 years ago. I am not afraid of going to Hell because I don't believe in Hell any more than I believe in Satan. I believe in reincarnation; that I will come back to this world or another and live out another life. I am not evil. Telling people I am a "good witch" or asking me if I am a good witch implies that there are evil witches. There are evil people in the world, and there are people who chose to work with the forces of nature in a way that harms others; those people are NOT witches. The central law of being a witch is: "if it harms none, do as you will." Please don't ask me about sacrificing cats or desecrating churches. I love my cats. And I don't go into churches or synagogues unless a friend from that religion invites me to some special occasion. And if I DO enter a church, I am not struck by lightning. And if a Christian or a Jew or a Buddhist came to a pagan ritual, our gods would not strike them dead either. Isn't that something to think about? Wearing a pentacle is no different than wearing a cross, crucifix, or Star of David. If you want me to take off the symbol of MY religion (and Wicca is a religion, protected by the same First Amendment rights as other religions) because it's offensive, you need to make everyone of every religion do that. The five points of the star signify the four elements of Earth, Air, Fire & Water, and the fifth point is Spirit; encircled by the World. How that can offend anyone boggles my little pagan mind. An image of a tortured, dying man is more offensive, yet thousands of people openly wear crucifixes every day. Also, don't ask me if I'm in a "coven" in that half-horrified, half-fascinated tone of voice. If I want to talk about my coven, I will bring it up. If I am a solitary practitioner, I have no coven to discuss. In any case, our rituals have candles, food, drink, poetry, dancing...yes, there is a knife but it only cuts the air, not anyone's flesh. I don't drink blood. I am not some kind of vampire. I wear black because it keeps negativity away and because it looks better on me than orange and purple polka dots. If you want to ask me something related to MY religion, ask me when the next full moon is. Or the next blue moon. Or what a blue moon IS. Ask me about herbs. Crystals. Healing. Even ask me to make you a love potion. But I don't cast spells on other people and I won't cast a spell on you to make you prettier, thinner, more desirable. And I won't cast a spell on your quarry to make him/her love you. Trust me, you don't want that, you don't want the karma that involves, and neither do I! That's a form of manipulation, taking away someone's power, infringing on their free will. Not nice at all. And I also won't cast a binding spell to make someone STOP doing something to you. Spell work is about co-creation. A witch works with universal energy, with the gods, to tilt the engine of probability somewhat. Need money? Don't try to ensorcel your boss to give you a raise. Simply ask the universe to increase the flow of abundance in your direction. That infringes on NO ONE's free will. One last thing: giving me a book about the Burning Times is like giving a book on the Holocaust to a Jewish person. It's not funny and is rude. Yes, I do go to Salem, but not because any of those poor executed people were witches (I think the jury is still out on some of them), but because there's cool pagan shops there. If there were cool pagan shops in a town called East Cowflop, I'd go there. Please don't try to make me ashamed of who I worship and what I am. Please don't try to convert me or "save" me. Don't throw holy water on me. Don't leave little pamphlets on my desk or windshield. I don't need to be saved. Witches are proud of the fact that we don't recruit people to become witches. We simply ARE, and those around us see how we think, how we act, and our inner peace, and only when someone says "how do I become a witch?" do we take them into the fold with us. I will NEVER leave a religious tract with anyone. I don't have one, unless you count this letter. I am not asking you to convert. I am only asking you to understand. If you don't want to understand, just leave me alone. Blessed Be, A Witch Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter From A Third Grade Teacher Sent Home To Pagan Parents Dear Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, I write this letter in concern of your daughter, Aradia Moon. Please don't take this the wrong way, however, although she is a straight A student and a very bright child, she has some strange habits that I feel we should address. Every morning before class, she insists on walking around the room with her pencil in the air. She says she is "drawing down the moon." I told her art class is in an hour and to please refrain until then to do any drawing. And speaking of art class, whenever she draws a night sky, she insists on drawing little circles around all the stars and people dancing on the ground. And that brings up dancing, I had to stop her twice for taking off her clothes during a game of Ring Around the Rosey! By the way, what does "skyclad" mean? Aradia has no problem with making friends. I always find her sitting outside during recess with her friends sitting around her in a circle. She likes to share her juice and cookies. It is nice how she wants no one to ever thirst or hunger. However, when I walked over to see what they were doing, she jumped up and told me to stop, pulled out a little plastic knife and started waiving it in front of me. I thought this a bit dangerous, so I took her to the Principal's Office. She explained to the Principal that she was "opening the circle" to let me in. She also said that her Mommy and Daddy always told her not to play or run with an "athame" in her hand, that she could put someone's eye out. I don't know what an "athame" is, but I'm glad she keeps it at home. As for stories, your daughter tends to make up some whoppers. Just yesterday while I was talking sternly to Tommy Johson and shaking my finger at him, he started screaming and ran from the room. When I finally caught him, he told me Aradia told him and the rest of the class that the last time I shook my finger at someone, they caught the chicken pox. I explained to him that the Sally Jones incident was just a coincidence, and that things like that don't really happen. One of the strangest things that happened was when I asked the children to bring in Halloween decorations for the classroom. Aradia brought in salt, incense, and her family album. I see she has quite a sense of humour. One of Aradia's worst habits is that she is very argumentative. We were discussing what the Golden Rule was (Do Unto Others as you would have them Do Unto You), she firmly disagreed with me and stated that it was "Do As you Will, but Harm None" and she will not stop saying "So Mote It Be" after she reads aloud in class. I try to correct her on these matters and she got very angry. She pointed her finger at me and mumbled something under her breath. In closing, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, I would like to set up a parent/teacher conference with you sometime next week to discuss these matters. I would like to see you sooner, but I have developed an irritating rash that I am quite worried about. With deep concerns, Mrs. Livingston P.S. Blessed Be. I understand this is a greeting or closing from your country that your daughter informs me is polite and correct.4 Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Persistent thought is your ticket. Payback, baby - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Some of the coolest dreams that ever came true, weren't dreams at all, but standards that simply weren't compromised. Oh yeah, we takin' over... ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Very often, when tides start turning, great gears start shifting and gusting winds start blowing at the onset of a really wonderful dream's alignment with your present life, there is commotion, unpredictability, even turmoil. So, hey, let's always assume that's the case whenever you experience commotion, unpredictability, even turmoil. K? Whhh-hhh-hh-h-h-h-ish- ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Plan the celebration now. Sweep the floor. Clean the slate. Pick a date. Window shop, buy a few things, go out on a limb. Rearrange the furniture, pick some flowers, take some time off. No, no. Not necessarily because the tipping point has been reached but because this is how you reach it. How's today looking? ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: One thing I know for sure is that with time everything becomes clear, all questions are answered, what's broken is restored, new trails are blazed, hearts are mended, love returns, and you will look over your shoulder, with a tear in your eye, at life's utter perfection. And best of all, time is one thing you have plenty of. Trust me. ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You know, I once had a dream that didn't come true. I know how that is. Ouch!! Painful!! Humiliating!! Until I realized, it wasn't too late to dream something better. It's never too late - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: In virtually all person-to-person relationships, disappointments can be lessened, setbacks can be regained, and little annoyances can be brushed off, when one stops and realizes that such relationships are always temporary. Physically speaking. Twister! ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Asking someone to change is like pruning a tree: neither will ever be the same again. Scarier still, is that you can't quite know in what new directions they'll grow. But hey, it's still your call. Tallyho, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The real reason your brain is so large compared to most of the other blessed creatures dwelling in time and space, is so that you can vividly imagine all the exquisite, exciting, and enthralling details of your heart's desires; not so that you can figure out who you need to meet, when you need to meet them, where you need to be, or how you're going to pull it all together. Your brain's not nearly that big. But mine is, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Do you know what the former-living celebrate the most, when they consider their earlier times in space? Not homes bought, cars driven, mountains climbed, or islands hopped, but fears faced, hearts mended, faith restored, and love bared. A hearty crew (nyuk, nyuk, nyuk) - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: A Universal Rule on Decision Making... Don't make them until it's time to make them. Unless you already know what you want, in which case, however, there is no decision to be made. You know, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You only ever have to ride the wave of life, not create it, to be taken anywhere you dream of being. Hang ten, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Wild, huh, how the entirety of living deliberately can be summed up in just three words? Thoughts become things. Of course, beliefs are important too, but your thoughts can change what you believe. And words are important, they're your thoughts that will become things the soonest. And taking action is absolutely critical, because more than anything else, it creates expectation. Spread the word, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Your generosity is making a name for you here in the unseen, while at the same time rattling the floodgates there on the plane of manifestation. I bet you're good at chess... Check, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Ever notice how those who give 150% just to "get by" in life, usually do? How those who are willing to do just about anything to work on their relationships, usually do? And how those who seem to make it their life's mission to add more years to theirs, often succeed? Thought so. Then you must wonder, too, why they don't just give 150% to living in abundance, do just about anything to celebrate their relationships, and make it their mission to add more life to their years... huh? Just another one of life's amazing mysteries, I guess - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: If you could take a daily pill that would profoundly speed-up the manifestation of all your dreams, would you take it without fail? I thought so. What if it was a big, ugly pill that took 5 minutes to dissolve on your tongue, and it tasted like medicine. Would you still do it? Yes, all of your dreams... Thought so. But what if during those 5 minutes each day you couldn't watch TV, or talk with friends, or distract yourself in any way from your chore? Wow, you must really want a fabulous goals, and all those other awesome life changes! OK, what if you could skip the pill bit entirely, but instead you had to set aside 5 minutes a day to visualize, in a dark and quiet room, seeing your life unfold as if all your dreams were coming true, and for good measure you had to say or do something, each day, that implied the same? No, you can't go back to the pill idea. Yours, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Perhaps the greatest of all illusions is that life could somehow be better than it already is. You've got it made, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The need to criticize simply belies a longing for recognition, appreciation, and validation. None of which, however, can be obtained through criticism. I'm sure it's just a phase they're going through. Wink, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There are no sane reasons to limit a dream. After all, you don't have to deliver it. I do. Faithfully, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The presumption at all times and under all circumstances, should always be that you are good enough, worthy enough, and lovable enough. And that you are exactly the right kind of person, in the right place, at the right time. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been instilled with such dreams in the first place. Love you, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Oh, we're busy all right. We're absolutely slammed; everywhere, always. Aligning planets, churning waterfalls, guiding sparrows, and raising more suns for more planets in more galaxies than a rocket scientist on caffeine could ever count. Yet still, never a moment goes by when there aren't angels here, working their little hearts out for you. Of this you can be sure, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You don't even have to ask. I know, I'm there, and I'm already busy. ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: When just starting out on a new journey it's only natural to feel vulnerable. After all, it may seem that you have much to lose. But may I remind you that never again, at any other point in your journey, will you have so much to gain as you will if you start today? I'll take that as a "Yes." Tallyho, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: It may seem a bit backwards for some, but the first step one might take towards rearranging the present circumstances of their life is to stop dwelling upon the present circumstances of their life. But for you it's probably a no-brainer. ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: It's not from the known, but the unknown, that creativity and inventiveness are born. Turn away from the predictable, cliché, and reliable. Brave the void where the darkness is greatest. Trust the quiet, find the stillness, feel the calm. Then steadily think, speak, and move as if you were led. Behave as if your vision were clear. Anticipate the emotional rush that will come with your triumph. As if by magic, as you raise your pen to write, you'll find the words have already been summoned, flooded in light that was there all along, in a world that has just as anxiously anticipated your arrival. Just don't let them worship you. ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: An end result, imagined clearly and acted upon with expectation, will always force the circumstances necessary to bring about its own manifestation, no matter how unpredictable, unlikely, or even impossible those circumstances may have previously seemed. Like clockwork, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: With the vista of a new year still dawning, is it my imagination or is someone out there forgetting that the "hows" are my domain? That when it comes to manifesting change, their real job is to focus upon the end result. That simply doing what they can, with what they've got, from where they are, will always be enough to move heaven and Earth? I didn't think so. ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Don't be fooled by the "players," and don't be fooled by yourself. Because there's no one more lovable than you. And I know everyone. Precious, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There is perhaps no more empowering belief, than understanding you're always in control of how you feel. Similarly, understanding that just because you're not always skipping through tulips with joy doesn't mean that something's wrong with you. You rock, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Some think life is not so much a place to seek personal happiness and fulfillment but rather a place to learn lessons and pay dues. And so it is for them. Tallyho, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The trick to blending work and play, lies not in what you do, but in how you view what you do. See work as play and see play as important - super, very. Super, very important - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: I have a favor to ask. Could you please wait until after you take your baby steps, experience wild serendipities, and manifest eyebrow raising miracles, before you start telling people you're an intergalactic tidal wave of wanton love and magic for whom all the elements bow? Patience sweetie, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Did you know, that you are entitled to as many miracles in a day, as breaths you take? And that those you don't use, carry over? And that presently, in dog years, it's impossible to use all yours up? And that, in human years, if new ones stopped accruing, which they won't, you'd be hard-pressed to use yours before your swinging 600's? And that all you have to do to cash one in, is expect it? You've got it made, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: It's like you're a fabulously complicated jigsaw puzzle piece, with stunning colors, wildly serrated edges, oceans of emotion, mountains of possibilities, worlds of talent, and complex energies, but for as long as you see yourself as just human, you'll never quite know where you fit in. Just say "No" - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You've done well for yourself. Real well. Overshot all the forecaster's predictions. Actually, you've thoroughly embarrassed them. Nostradamus is particularly mortified. Tell you what, how about next time we not tell everyone you're just going to "chill out"? You rock, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: In a way, life itself tracks a person's generosity, much like an airline might track frequent flyer miles. The more you give, the more you earn, the higher you fly, and the further you go. Coffee, tea, or a flat screen TV? ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: An old soul is not an old soul by virtue of age, but for their patience, self-measure, and happy tears for no apparent reason. Hmmmmm, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Of course, these are crazy times to be alive, when virtually anything could happen next, fortunes are made and lost overnight, friends come and go, and lovers glimpse eternity between fear and ecstasy. That's why zillions upon zillions of souls, more than you will ever know, said, "No wa-y-y-y, José." And it's why a few brazen billion, said, "Whoooo-Hooooooooooooooo!" You all have so much in common, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Baby souls see what's wrong. Young souls see what's right. And old souls know better. I know you, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: What if, from now on and forevermore, people stopped using the word "evil" and replaced it with "ignorance"? Yeah, less fear, more better; global transformation. Let's, ~The Universe A Letter from Beyond: There's not one person on Earth who's there for the same reason as you... Finding and celebrating you. Whoop, ~The Universe A Letter from Beyond: Most people quickly forget car types, brand names, and whether or not you could throw a Frisbee but forever remember the broadly smiling, animal talking, tree hugging eccentrics they befriended. Go for the latter. Putting the "U" in Unforgettable, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Lilac pandas, dancing flowers, sugar mountains, and rainbow houses don't even hint at the splendor of where you came from. But then, your friends back "home" can't imagine crimson sunrises, falling snow in moonlight, twirling dolphins, wagging tails, purring hearts, ocean mists, or bare feet in grass. You've so impressed the Joneses. Another day in paradise, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Let's slide forward in time a bit. Far enough to where we find your greatest dreams of the present have come true long ago. Seems like you've had a goals forever, and that ages ago it was common knowledge among the angels that you would inevitably have a successful business. And oh, yes, there were countless happy surprises along the way, that, well, I'm not at liberty to write about here, but use your imagination! OK, now that you've achieved so much, moved on, and your life is rocking, pray tell: How much did being on "Piers Morgan Tonight" change things for you? What are your new life priorities these days? Any regrets over refurbishing that castle in Scotland? Are most of your friends famous, or do you shun the "in" crowd? What advice would you give yourself if you could go back in time to, say, the end of 2011? Does Angelina really care about the underprivileged, or is she just co-chairing your Greener Planet event to curry favor with the rich and powerful? What is it that you now dream of with all your heart and soul? And finally, do you think it was your powers of persuasion, or your progressive rap lyrics, that convinced the North Koreans to go non-nuclear? Enquiring minds want to know... ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: If you only knew how normal you were when you thought you were weird. How strong you were when you thought you were weak. And how ready you were when you thought you weren't. You'd think again, oh Great One Revered by All in the Unseen - ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Young souls use pain to learn how things are. Mature souls use pain to learn how else things might be. And old souls use pain to learn how else they might be. T-s-s-s-s-s-s, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The light is getting brighter. The path is getting clearer. And you are getting closer. That's all I'm saying, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There's only a little bit of time left. Soon, everyone will know of your greatness, magnanimous nature, giving spirit, and manifesting prowess. Would you mind terribly if we began shooting the documentary of your life-so-far? We want some before and after shots to catch the looks on their faces when they first hear that you'll be on an Oprah special, with the Queen, talking to dolphins. Cool? ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Not the pain or the relief. Not the answer or the question. Not the challenge or the victory. The song or the sparrow... Nothing is random. I'm like that, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: What if you're already doing everything right, even though you're not sure? And the surprises along the way have only sped things up, even though it felt like they slowed you down? And all that you want is now barreling towards you, even though you can't see it? And when it arrives it'll exceed your every expectation, even though your dreams were huge? Wouldn't you be making some really weird noises about now? Whoohoo'ing, howling... maybe even whoohoo-howl-barking? Well? ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Two of the most important questions for all aspiring rock stars are: 1. How big do you want to be? 2. What are you now doing about it? "Rock stars" being metaphoric for "have a successful business." I just didn't want to immediately flip you out. See you at the stadium, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The world is filled with many colorful characters, one or many of whom would be absolutely thrilled to play along in any drama you'd care to create - romantically, socially, financially, comically - any. Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: No one is rewarded more richly in time, space, or beyond, than the person who has helped others. And it matters not whether they helped selflessly or selfishly, for a profit or for free, with an Apple or a Droid. Help is help, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The questions you have to answer pertain to what, where, when, and why. Mine pertain to how and with whom. Fair? ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The entire world will be a richer place once you have a successful business and have your goals. We knew this when we helped you pick your dreams. So let's get cracking, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Give with a truly glad heart, for the sole purpose of the good it will do, and whatever you give shall return to you, multiplied, as if on wings, covered in sparkles. Not that I'm spying on you, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: As mentioned in the brochures used for recruiting alien life forms from distant realities: "'Time and Space' is where you're never judged, only loved, anyone can be a rock star, and your keys will be wherever you left them." Spot on, huh? Wiki this, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Always listen to your doubts. I do, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: What if, all the people in your life, every single one of them, even the pesky ones, asked to be there, so that your light might brighten their way? Your light shines bright, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Appreciating what you have little of is easy. Appreciating what you have lots and lots of takes a spiritual master. And you so have lots, ~The Universe So appreciating ALL of you. A Letter from Beyond: When you hear words that hurt, distract, or disappoint, at minimum, a silent whisper of gratitude is due the soul who unwittingly risked friendship with a spiritual giant, so that you might sooner understand that words needn't ever hurt, distract, or disappoint. Tallyho, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: True life mastery is more a function of knowing what to want, than knowing how to get what you want. What? ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: When walls close in, skies turn gray, and dreams seem like they're awfully far away, you're probably just forgetting that the same "hands" that created the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars, are still holding yours, anxious to help. I simply adore you, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: So much to be thankful for, huh? Yet so little time. Thank you, you're welcome ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: The beginner scorns criticism. The wise soul carefully weighs it. And the Master says, "But, of course!" ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: It's not that you worry, but that you care. A lot. And knowing this difference can make such a difference, because then you can also remember that caring is my specialty, that every life unfolds in the palm of my hand, and that not one second of eternity is ever revealed that I haven't carefully prepared. Silly, ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: What I most want you to dream of, are possibilities that thrill you. What I most want you to feel, is happy and what I most want you to know, is that you're loved. Always, ~The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Some, are better loved from a distance. For a while, anyway. And that's OK. ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: To some, on other planets, you get more done in a single day than they do in an entire year. On this planet, however, getting things done has been confused with worthiness. I guess that pretty much answers the intelligent life question. You're still out of this world, ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: Through the prism of time and space, the scary stuff always looks scarier than it really is. But this is offset by the fact that the great stuff is always greater is frequently on sale, comes in more flavors, and goes with pretty much everything. Please pass the Grey Poupon, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Do you know what happens when a dream comes true and you feel your joy bubbling over into wide grins, happy dances, and shrieks of "Holy @#$%!!" and the like? Your energy actually spills over into the oceans of time and reaches into the past where it laps upon the shores of a former here and now, infusing a former unsuspecting self (who is still merrily living their life due to time's "simultaneousity") with a flash of inspiration or a burst of intuition; a hope for what the future might hold. Whew... and that, my friend, is the truth about where dreams come from. ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You're dreaming-g-g-g and while I abhor the idea of disturbing you when things are getting so very exciting in your life, I just want to remind you that no matter what may ever happen, the dreamer is always greater than the dream. You're the greatest ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There's never been a conflict from which both parties didn't have something very cool to learn. That's why we call them parties. Gr-r-r-, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There's always a price to be paid for doing, being, and having more, and it has little to do with working harder or knowing the "right" people. In as few words as possible... "get out more." Even more, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: It's ALL Good. Everything, always, and forever. Good, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Discretion is the better part of valor. Spontaneity is the better part of brilliance and imagination is the better part of making dreams come true. Yes we can, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Some will hear, but not listen. Some will listen, but not understand. Some will understand, but not act. OMG, once you have a successful business, rest assured these very same friends will call you "lucky," as they secretly begin to move with their own dreams. Love to love you, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The odd thing about the often long and lonely path of life, is that when you get to the end of it and look back, you'll find that it was neither of these. Swoosh, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: It's kind of strange, but first you have to know what you want, defined in terms of the end result. And then you have to physically move towards it, without defining the hows. At which point, the thing you want actually starts coming to you, on its own terms, from a direction completely unexpected. Not unlike a cat, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The time will come, and it will be sooner rather than later, when your greatest admirers and protégés will look at your life - your achievements, possessions (especially your goals), and passions - frown a little and sullenly say, "Yeah, but for you... it was easy." At which point you should conceal any yearning you may possess to either object or laugh hysterically. Instead, lovingly look them square in the eye and say, "Yes, and it can be easy for you, too." A Life Coaching Tip, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Someone once said, "No pain, no gain." So it became their reality. Bummer, huh? ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: The only difference between a friend and a foe, is that you've decided, where love can grow. There isn't a soul on the planet, who doesn't crave your approval. Love you, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Today, you are a magnet for infinite abundance, divine intelligence, and unlimited love. Actually, this has always been true. Love You, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: As powerful as you are whose day are you going to make? It's all about you. ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: Your "challenges" are simply the manifestation of your so-called invisible, limiting beliefs. Not so invisible after all, eh? ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: The reason there are so many people in the world, is so that each of you might at least find a few of them to love. And ye shall be transformed, ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: Think of every single thing that you "have to" do to get through a day, as things you "get to" do... before your turn is over. Everything's a gift, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You are now who you most wanted to be. I'd say you're on a roll. Shwing, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: All is well. You don't have to like or love everything or everyone, not in the usual sense. Injustices and villains always abound during primitive times. You knew this would be true before you chose this life, just as you knew that the good and the beauty would far exceed the bad and the ugly. Life is beautiful, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: To fix the world, you must first see it as broken. I'm not so sure I'd go there, ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: Pop Quiz! Q: How do you find love, health, abundance, or enlightenment? A: Stop searching. And start seeing what's been there all along. With love, ~ The Universe A Letter from Beyond: When someone behaves poorly, it's always because they've forgotten how powerful they really are, how beautiful life is, and how much they're loved. Always, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: You can change a great many things. Or you can change. Same-same, ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There's only one reason I can think of that an infinitely powerful, all-knowing, fun-loving, eternal gladiator of the Universe would ever choose to be born into a little human body, with stub-able toes, adrift in time, immersed in space, cloaked in mystery: There'd have to be much more to what was going on than mere mortal eyes could behold, and it would have to be really, really, really, really, really beautiful. And it so is. You'll "see," ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: There comes a time in every life, when the valiant choice is made to take a courageous stand for oneself, in spite of consequences, against those who have behaved irresponsibly. And this is good. Sometime afterwards, it ultimately dawns on all, however, that what they might be most concerned with are their own responsibilities. And this is terribly good. Roll over Beethoven, hit me Amadeus, let's waltz Matilda. ~ The Universe Go to Top Classroom Main List Main List Index Random Madness Home A Letter from Beyond: Actually, it's not that we don't have celebrities here.
