A Prayer

The sun sets.
The crickets are chirping.
The mood is set.
I just sit here enveloping.
Watching the tiki torch
flicker in the breeze.
I go to my back porch.
I get upon my knees.
Please forgive me.
I try really hard 
to be the best that I can be
and not play the jealousy card.
