Yellow, orange to red
I think about what you said.
Red, pink, gray
I think about that day.
Gray fades in to the night.
I remember how it felt so right.
Stars come out to shine.
Your kiss was sweet like wine.
As the sun fades so do you -

without him in it?

Just turn the key.
Let it loose.
Why are you so afraid -
to find out what love means?
It's not a scary thing.
What's wrong? Spill the beans.

It's safe to say -
that my love for you has changed.
It's getting stronger every day.
There's nothing I would've changed.
I am completely completed.

My good energy isn't depleted.

I'm not one to judge.
It's love without rhyme or reason.
There's no reason to hold a grudge.
My heart grows fonder
as time moves on.
Now all I ponder.

Will you have at one fond memory?

What about the day at the pond?
We fed the ducks some stale bread.
I'll cherish that until I'm dead.
What about our trips to the park?
You would pet the dog then he'd bark.
What about the road trips we shared.
Its the little things to let you know I cared.
If I go don't be sad too much.
When you least expect it -
I'll give it a touch.

I was left out in the cold -
with no one to hold.
Put out without a care in the world.
It ended with just one word.

with me and my wine
You left without a goodbye
Now I watch it burn
as I sit and cry
I'm sorry that I wasn't your perfect thing,
The memory smolders and some sting
I let you linger in my head rent free.
I'm just me. Can't you see?
I loved you for so long
My heart had a song
I will always love you
I just found my clue.
